Airport security sounds like properly mountie work, to me ..... for what would you need tanks and rpgs guarding access to an airport? ... what you say about an absurd proportion of overpaid officers to fighting men is true, yes, well let's fix that ... any major airport should have a forces base near it anyway, with highly mobile air cavalry ready to go on notice of minutes at any time ... we also need a much better funded coast guard, and armed, perhaps rolled into the navy? ... and forget the big fancy ships for sailing off to the Persian Gulf, better to have good subs and torpedo boats and coast guard tenders with quality helicopters Seriously, do you see nothing wrong with admitting foreign troops under the control of god knows which bunch of devious scum rules down there tomorrow? .... ever hear what Reagan had his goons do to the nicaragüenses?
