Does the fact that he is pursuing a legal process suggest that he plans to be a good citizen going forward? This is a cop killer we're talking about. This is not a case of forgive and forget. This creep should not have any rights in our legal system ever again. He's already killed twice and deserves no "second (third?) chance" in our society in any way, shape, or form ... so I couldn't care less about his plans. It is possible that we are not seeing eye to eye on this case. (But thanks for giving it to us to yell about).
