every time i shop in a national chain store...(sports authority, target, etc) i'm offered a discount if i will please just take one of their charge cards...

i just received a call from United Airline's affinity card program rep, tried to get me sign up for mileage plus visa.

last week i got Continental's affinity card (chase) rep called.

and Marriott wanted to know why i cancel their affinity card (haven't used it but once when they first gave it to me a year ago).

since banks cannot make money lending to biz, they are desperately try to get retail side of biz.
