One also has to ask, is it really possible to bully anonymous posters on a board like this where all one has to do is put a person on ignore, or go read a book.

Yes. that has always been my position. The irony is that people of great timidity may find the Internet a great blessing, inasmuch as they can interact here with a wide range of personalities, while having numerous protections and escapes from bullying or harassment, beginning with their anonymity. However, even here, timorous people need to learn some minimal street smarts so as not to place themselves in a vulnerable position.

It's hardly gangs and bullying. To me, it's all debate and ad hominems, and I've been on the giving and receiving end of each - many times, with many different people. Relationships on SI are increasingly fluid, it seems.

The one constant seems to be you. You know that I know that you have a problem. It's a problem you can gloss over and perhaps conceal from your current posting partners, but it's still a problem. You know it and I know it.

So before you again start bullying someone you call a bully, or complain about gangs, while enlisting a group [gang] to join you in that chorus, think again about what we both know.
