Let me restate my question......Do you think that if Christian fundamentists were in charge of our government they would not have their policies driven by the bible as the Islamics do with the Koran? Bible justice can be pretty severe and it can also be oppressive.... And I don't know what an anti-religion fundamentalist is, that's a coinage of yours...I am a secular person in favor of a secular government as the founding fathers intended. The pledge was not written with under God in it and it does not belong there. We are not a nation under God.....the choice to believe in God is yours personally.... Furthermore your last paragraph displays the type of attitude that I fear would be commonplace if this country were run by Christian fundamentalists....It's exactly the same thought process used by the Islamic extremists.....
