OFDMA offers a terrestrial network with more flexibility in the future, might even cooperate
with 4G, adaptable for specific local interferences, etc.

However, as we agreed on, cost efficient horsepowers were not there some years
ago.

Btw, I guess the VSB-8 I joked about is due to using old RF, regular TV VSB equipment,
amplifiers, channel switches, relay stations, it even happened some 6 years ago for the
little relay station of my little village, which does not even pick out or reorder the VSB channels.

Same job has been going for a long time on those sitting at the end of a multi apartment cable,
those old VSB things need some tuning, just as the the local telephone switch did to provide
DSL, and before that to provide 56kbps (well, 48kbps not to be totally dishonest)

Ilmarinen

Why is this one quack-guy saying his computer tells him 112kbps for 56kbps (48kbps) V.90
modems, lack of even basic understanding??
