I caught some "flak" here when I said that the NEA had removed material from their site after complaints.

Well, not from me but I certainly do not concede it should have been removed in the first place. It is very easy to jump to conclusions on matters like this (particularly when one is NEA-phobic).

As I typed to Nadine, and you no doubt have read by now, as soon as I read it, I knew I would get some serious "I told you sos" from both of you.

I also noted you could think of two reasons they took it down--serious rethinking or simply crumbled under criticism. I fear it's the latter and the Washington Times now has a scalp and is looking for more.

But the serious chuckles are Bennett and Cheney. The only patriots in the world.
