Cultural diversity will destroy Americanization if we let it.

But you never see anybody like that in this discussion do you?

I argued that American citizenship was being tragically weakened, leaving large numbers of us without serious commitment to a true, historical, deep Americanism.

Georgie Anne Geyer is 100% correct, IMO! There is NO other country in the world that allows people to come in from anywhere, and make the rules, and laws, up to suit whatever their particular belief system is. America was founded on a morals and with strong ethical base (not ethnic)....

I believe this country should have English as the official language, and that all official correspondence (tax forms, drivers licenses, voting ballots, teaching, etc etc etc) should be in English. All other languages should be as a second language.

We are a Nation of diversity, and very proud of it. We should and do celebrate each of our cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

We are Americans.
We are not any other country in the world.

We need to celebrate being American.
