We'll see... I can see this scenario happening against a backdrop of dollar stability or a slowly declining dollar. Again, note that the commodity rally has coincided with a rally of the USD against the minor currencies (mostly commodity producers and sources of labor for US corporations): research.stlouisfed.org On housing: I'm not convinced that it is overpriced in most of the Midwest US. That does not mean that prices can't fall here.
