Yes, I would.
This one would. But I expect too much. With super power comes super responsibility, and the duty to tread very carefully in the world. That is, of course, the exact opposite of the "We've got a big stick and we're not afraid to use it" folks. I understand that. I understand why people want to use every weapon, and go to war, when diplomacy might take a great deal of time, and is no where near as certain, but understanding does not make me agree.

We feel "threatened" beyond all reason, imo. We feel threatened out of proportion with the threat. Obviously this is common, but does that make an extreme reaction correct? I do not think so. I do not approve of what we did in Afghanistan, and I certainly don't approve of the invasion of Iraq, or Iran, or anywhere else, that has not attacked another country (really attacked another country, as opposed to imputedly attacked another country by harboring terrorists, etc.)
