USD will stop being the currency of choice of the drug dealer, the corrupt and the terrorist organization. The recycling of the money originated from informal type of business, Drug money, corruption and terror, just to name a few, always go through the USD dollar. Ss the Al Qaeda examples show, they are opting out the dollar and going for gold. As governments try (well, you know they don't try very hard actually) to get hold of the informal money of the terrorist, they may stumble about the money of the drug dealer or the corrupt. The corrupt and the drug dealer will try to get away form the USD because they don't want that visibility.
