I think if we see another round of layoffs , that would burst the housing bubble here in Silicon valley.

Don't you think its already burst? Prices and demand sure aren't going up. And they are giving rentals away where I am.

But I don't look at SVs housing climate as indicative of anywhere else, even in California.

As far as speculative investing, if I could figure out a way to buy commercial real estate around here in the next year I would.
