TP, if current man tried to make amends for all past sins, no one would be living. Look what happened to the Irish, Chinese, Native Americans, the Puritans and Pilrims while founding the country, the Quakers, and so many others while building this country. And then we can go to our ancestors who were ALL from other areas in the world....We could go nuts....Should I rebel against Cromwell who sent the English to Ireland in the 1640's....or should I rebel against the Irish who opposed them, or the Plantagents, or the folks who killed them...

Just stop. We ALL have the gift of life. We can make the best of that life, or the worst. Look at all the folks from VietNam and Cambodia who came here as refugees....Don't hear many of them standing around whining do you? We have thousands of families here from those areas, and there are so many success stories...and yes, sometimes they have worked 3 jobs to do better for their families and themselves.

Give it a rest.

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.’ [Ezekiel 18.20]
In the Scriptures, each person is held responsible for his or her own sins.
