Did you know that the U.S. was an ally of Saddam Huessein during the 1980s, when he gassed his own people? And we stood by and did nothing. The U.S. is hardly concerned with suffering people. Do you know how many people have suffered and died throughout the world as a result of U.S. economic imperialism (espeically in Latin America)? How concerned was the U.S. when it installed and supported the brutal Shah of Iran and the CIA taught his secret police SAVAK how to torture it's citizens. The U.S. concerned with peoples suffering. Give me a break!

There is a case to be made for taking out Saddam. He's an evil man and the world would be a better and safer place without him, but to relieve his people's suffering? You must be joking.
