Was Kipling just a century early? Are his policies the right policies for the 21st century?

This review and book suggest perhaps.

I don't know what you are referring to, X. Let me catch up to that...

"And Solon, I tell you, I am not dead."

You seem real enough to me, all right...

"I, though, did not see JC as being nasty."

Well, I had to open two SI windows to get back to this...

OK, I found the pertinent post:

Message 17953014

YOU "I still don't understand why it is "nasty" of JC to mention, without much kindness on his part, that he was pre-banned from a thread"

I went to "view replies", and you are apparently referring to Poet's terse and concise comment: "That was pretty nasty. I thought you'd moved on"

Part of what JC said was "If you have any thought of bringing them fresh clothing and fruitcakes...

Was JC's comment "nasty"? Well, apparently it offended people. There were insulting insinuations which went beyond any fair comment on the alledged banning. I think the word "immature" is sometimes more appropriate than nasty. But I really don't know. It is only a wee opinion.

In any case--right now I am listening to music. I suppose I am as important as the defintion of "nasty'.
