The debate in Congress will take the authorizing action past this fall's elections. I still say: 1st. Q. '03 is target date. PS - most recent poll indicates strong majority support for attack on Iraq... except when asked if we should do it without support of allies... or if asked if we should attack if that would mean "thousands of US casualities". When the questions are combined ("thousands of casualities" and "go it alone") support dropped to 18%. Guess that means we want things easy and cheap....
