Good point LOL.

The note sequence actually was intended to be a simple tune or melody, I think. Even You Light Up My Life had a tune, delivered in a fingers-across-the-chalkboard sort of way. When the singer last night (what was her name again? Kelly, or something like that) tried to belt out a loud Mariah Carey imitation, though, she tended to lose her voice for awhile in the excitement of the moment.

I see we are going to need to order more sushi. I'll have some rice, beef and chicken teriyaki, tempura, and Japanese soups and salads brought by as well.

Weren't those songs awful? I guess they had new ones written so Simon could own them outright and not have to pay any royalties.

OMD, Kelly is a very good singer who hits the right notes with style, but she (and Justin, who really messed up his final song, understandably) were exhausted, and Kelly was crying and her voice was gone by the time you heard her.

Edit: perused further, and i see you explained about Kelly's poor voice.
