Exactly. But I also believe this action is in our best US security interests with or without international support. If the region does become dominated by Saddam, it will be US blood and treasure which will be expended to put things back a'right, by cracky....best to do it now while the cost will be lower in compariso....

I don't hear many people saying they are false, either, just that they would like to see proof and, because they have not yet seen that proof, they feel it is premature to launch a war.

Nor have I said they were false or that there is not a solid basis for starting a war, only that I haven't heard it yet.

The next phase, convincing the international community that it is the right thing to do, begins Sept. 12.

I was glad to see that plan announced. My characterization of "blow offs" was of the attitude that has reigned thus far.
