The Washington Post gives us yet another clear and well-written editorial.

I'm not against military action under some circumstances, but, so far, this has not proven itself to be one.

This hit me:

Nearly two-thirds of Americans favor taking military action to end Hussein's rule, according to the poll. But that number drops to 30 percent when asked whether the U.S. should launch a war against Iraq without its allies.

And yet on SI it seems that the majority wished to be the aggressor here. Odd.
