Wow: Earlie really spent some time on that excellent post He says it all.
I knew we were in trouble when the Feds could not hold the Dow above 9000.
At one time, the Fed did step in and save Chrysler since it only took a few bil and only because they had 5bil in tank orders to fullfill.
Now when even one company like Csco gets in trouble with $500 bil market cap who can expect any help from the Fed. ? That was twice our whole Defense budget a short time ago. Just one company.
The Dow and the Nas no longer indicate how bad the losses have been, they keep tossing out the bad stocks and replacing them with good ones. To me thats cheating,
You cant even find ENE or KM anymore- nor any of their history No Profile, no Reseach, no plots.
Vanished
There are two more things at least waiting to collapse. Autos and expensive housing.
They have said you can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you cant fool all of the people all of the time.
Now the public is being educated thru the Web as to the true nature of the cheats running the equities game, and not all will be fooled the same way again.
They also say we are penny wise and pound foolish, to shop around for cheap gas or groceries while .leaving 1000's or millions of savings and retirement benefits in the hands of total strangers. Those so called "experts"
