I just read the Kramer piece last night. That whole issue is great.

I saw a piece on this girl on television not too long ago. It's incomprehensible the lengths people will go to to get taller.

BTW, about Kramer's cooking and writing piece, I've never read an account of anyone so quite like me. Granted, she's both a better cook and writer than I, but the dynamics are the same. I must cook while I'm writing, often slow-cooked, complex soups and stews.

I baked a marble bundt cake with a bittersweet chocolate glaze while I was finishing my Neruda piece this morning.
