If they are a threat to the United States, then yes. You conveniently leave that out. It is a massive oversimplification to state that we will do this because "we don't like them". I am sure glad we have pragmatic men and women in charge that understand the Government's OBLIGATION to protect our citizens. People who live in fairy tale land where they feel we are in no danger amaze me. Particularly after 9-11-2001.

For the most part, it is not especially our business. Certainly, antipathy has nothing to do with what I was saying. But we sometimes take sides, and it is legitimate for us to favor authoritarian regimes if there is sound reason to think that what would succeed them would be worse, and to be even more "pro- active" if there is a case for a strategic threat to U.S.interests.....
