Agreed, Cereal should be illegal.....grain flavored, sugar balls.....gag me. No wonder kids are babbling imbeciles these days.....they don't know what real food is. Hell, even a crock pot can feed you something healthy. Shootie

Cereal should be banned from the continent. amazing how the "General Mills Combine " and Madison Ave sold the mass middleclass on the idea that just eating the whole grain is somehow crude , primitive and not fun or entertaining ...a hero/messiah on every box and the latest technology for grinding , heating ,toasting and generally destroying what nature creates. But cereal is the original fast food . food should be glossy and "sparkly" and sugary sweet and all syrupy drenched to be palitable (like some religions? ahem ) we had up on our hill , that one family that was always grinding their own flower and the mother made her own bread when she could have easily just bought WONDER BREAD ENRICHED like everybody else... and the mother filled her kids lunch boxes with horrible atrociously bland , boring stuff that only poorer people would eat , like dried fruits and nuts .The kids were kidded and put down in school when they revealed the contents of their lunches. They were a very smart couple both PHD's , and didn't even have candy for Halloween , just that old fashion bobbing for apples.... the family was always regarded as a little strange and sort of pitied for their economic status was not up as much as the others ....even their Car was an older model that he as an engineer maintained , while every one else's was the latest sexy model. I was curious little kid and got to know them ...and always liked bobbing for apples on Halloween , and later actually all the kids did come to like going to their house . As for boxed Cereal , the only thing good about it are the --->bannanas and fresh fruit you are supposed to make the kids always put on it ! Least my dad did ....and the wheatgerm , but he went to highschool and worshipped Jack la Lane , LOL! * Jack La Lane walked across the Golden Gate bridge on his hands when still in Highschool
