My question for everyone here is, "why are Christians in America so tolerant of Jews, yet seem to be intolerant of Muslims? Especially when Muslims recognize the divine nature of Jesus, yet Jews do not." Because Jesus was a Jew and although they reject him Muslims also do not recognize the divinity of Jesus Christ. To them he is just another prophet. "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammed is the prophet of Allah" is their great confession. You don't hear them saying Jesus, or Jeremiah, or Jonah, or Ezekial, it's always Muhammed. Because to them the final word rests with him. Now many Christians on the other hand believe that Muhammed was an all out lier and blasphemer concerning Jesus but the Jews haven't found the "messiah" yet. So one is to be pitied because of their utter blindness while the other is reproved for following in the footsteps of a sword swinging, blood thirsty blasphemer. As is the leader so generally are the followers. Thus, many Christians are suspicious of Muslims. I have spoken with Muslims and they are very quick to claim that the scriptures were tampered with and that's why Muhammeds word should be given preference. However when I ask them when it was tampered with they just shake their heads and confess they don't know. When I ask for names of those that did the tampering the reply also the same. So then we go around in a circle. You say that the scriptures were tampered with but you can't give me a time or the names of the people that did this. I ask them, tell me what it was that was changed. Well, they say whatever doesn't now line up with what Muhammed said is what was changed. hmmm........dang.....can't argue with that now can we???
