Did anybody notice that the commodities index (CRB) went from the low of 180 in September to 227 today -- a whopping over 30% increase? The next market nervous breakdown will be over the realization that Alan Green Spam can't lower rates anymore because of the resizing prices.

John, I personally think "convergence" will be driven by the game consoles more than PCs. Already you can play DVD movies on a Playstation 2 and an X-Box. Next they'll be adding TiVo-like features to consoles.

Beyond that (and a little more far-fetched), they'll be adding PC-like applications. Just think, Microsoft Office for X-Box2! ;-)
