There are some very good new SSRI's (which work on the same neurochemical reactions as Prozac) out there now, which have fewer side effects than Prozac and require less "medication" for equal effect. Your friend is lucky to have so many choices. And it's situations like hers, where stress causes depression and anxiety, which are often so responsive. I hope she finds something that works well, and quickly.
