T, Un Ballo is one of the toughies. When they first wrote it, it was based on the assasination of the king of Sweden. But the royals in Europe thought that was a horrible thing to show as entertainment and might give the hoi polloi some ideas they didn't already have. So, they changed the setting to some place nobody ever heard of and made the hero a colonial governor instead of a king (I guess killing them is kosher). The unknown place was called Boston. <G>

I've seen it both ways, as the king of Sweden and the governor of Boston.
