Cary,
I respect your honesty. I sincerely hope you are wrong about Bush. And i hope you hope that you are wrong about him as well, for if not we are headed into the abyss with a traitorous president at the helm. FWIW I think you, jerome, & bwac are all wet. This charge is ridiculous. Mike

PS Were Reagan and Bush 41 equally as dishonest? Were Clinton and Gore honest? What a joke this debate is. Its all about your pre-conceived notions about things and the arrogance that makes you see yourself as right all the time.

>>my gut says go against Bush

So your gut feels that Saddam poses no real threat(s) to the US and the rest of the world for that matter and that no inspections are neccessary. In other words it's fine with you if Saddam does as he pleases?

> I don't believe he does anything because it is best for the US. I believe he does everything because it is in the best interests of his supporters<

Go back a couple of years and everyone would think you were talking about Clinton. Fact is, both parties do little in the interest of the U.S. anymore. Its all about enriching themselves, their supporters and special interest groups.

I used to say that "The U.S. government is for sale"........But no more..............its all sold out. And as long as people tie themselves to one particular party, they'll probably never see (or at least admit) that.

Regards,

Knip
