I thought we were having a rather pleasant discussion....not arguing. That said I disagree with the sustance of your post. No one is "entitled to spew whatever they want". There are limits to free speech. With the exercise of rights must come the exercise of responsibility....Its why we have notions of slander and libel and defamation...And those rights are not expanded but circumscribed when we are at war.....

I have no problem with dissent based upon facts. For instance I disagree with the TIPS program as proposed because I think it is a waste of money and duplicative of existing systems....But I don't need to dsay I oppose it because John Ashcroft is a fascist lunatic, clearly untrue, or that this equates the the new Gestapo, etc.....Its about how the rights are exercised, not the fact that we may disagree....

There IS a difference.
