But what we know is that Israel has weapons of mass destruction. Nobody talks about that. Why should there be one standard for one country, especially because it is black, and another one for another country, Israel, that is white.

Iraq is black? More to the point, Iraqis are blacker than Israelis? And the reason we oppose Iraq having WMD is because Iraqis are black? Wow.

If Iraqis are black then so are Pakistanis and Indians, and they have nuclear weapons. (Hope I don't get flamed by angry Pakistanis and Indians -- I just don't see how Arabs are black. Furthermore, I don't see how race has anything to do with this, at all. Even if Saddam were black, that would not make him less fit or more fit to have a nuclear arsenal.)

Nelson Mandela is a very courageous man but he's clearly out of his depth here.

Neither Bush nor [British Prime Minister] Tony Blair has provided any evidence that such weapons exist. But what we know is that Israel has weapons of mass destruction. Nobody talks about that. Why should there be one standard for one country, especially because it is black, and another one for another country, Israel, that is white.

Mandela has lost it. Israel isn't "white" and Iraq isn't "black". Racially, Israel is totally mixed and most Iraqis are pretty light-skinned. Or is this just code for modern democracy vs. third-world dictatorship? Not to mention that the standard is different because one country is a stable democracy and the other is ruled by an aggressive megalomaniac dictator.
