Brescan used to be Hee's International Bankcorp. They are a good outfit strong in natural resorse experience and management.I think they used to have a stake in Hunter Oil as well.At least thats what I remember from 5 years ago.
They were also part of the Broffman empire if memory serves.

Russet... thanks for the info - I'm just getting my first look at the market depth and I don't like it. There's hardly any buyers? ...and the buyers that are there are forcefully bullish on what's going to be an off day? It'll gap up on first throw - so I wouldn't be a buyer until there's a lul.

Regards,
Frank P.

Russett:

Can you give us a link as there appears to be an omission with regard to the further information about the Kemess Mine. I take it this mine and it's financial relationship with Trilon is what did in Royal Oak, the company run by Peggy Whitte, to distinguish it from the Royal Oak mine near Timmins.

Anyway, it's just my opinion but I might sell my K if it's not an outright buy from BNN.A. If they keep their hooks in in any way, I'll dump it in a New York minute. There have been questions about Jack Cockwell's accounting procedures going back 25 years, and just as Lay and Skilling got rich on the backs of their shareholders, so did he, only he did it earlier and probably even could still teach Arthur Anderson a few tricks they don't yet know about. When he retired recently I understand the new CEO had been mentored by him.

Regards

Bob
