I am still short
MCHP (no change in position)
BRCM (no change in position)
NVLS (no change in position)
SYMC (doubled position)
MER (covered and reshorted at a higher price).

I have found that being a patient position <short> trader the past 9 months has been the best plan.

You had some very good trades on these. You left money on the table, but the trades were good none the less. There is always a bit lower price to cover a short and a bit higher price to sell, but, I've found, when I try to get that last bit, I get caught more often by the trade turning against me and, overall make less. I'm a big believer of knowing your exit points when you enter a trade and executing accordingly. I find it helps to have some longer term trades on so, when I cover my short term trades and the market takes off down the hill, I'm not 100% in cash.

Congratulations on your trades. You did quite well.
