The crew should all be incarcerated and questioned and the vessel seized for evidence...

lorne,

It's important to keep propaganda like this in perspective. The important line is the one they hoped no one would get to at the bottom of the article. To wit: But trace radiation could come from a number of sources, such as clay, pipes that have been used for a long time underground in oil excavation, defense officials said.

Robert Bonner, head of U.S. Customs told of a very interesting incident recently at the U.S.-Mexico border. Most border agents carry a pager-sized radiation detector that is very well engineered. There are about 4,000 of these detectors in use. As the customs inspector approached one car in the queue, the alarm sounded. The officer requested that the driver get out of the car so he could perform a more thorough investigation of the vehicle. When the driver walked away, the detector went silent. The officer was puzzled and walked over to the driver. The detector again sounded the alarm for radiation. It turned out the man had had radiation therapy that morning for cancer in a clinic. The residual radation was enough to sound the "false positive".

Your Faux News plant sounds like a disinformation plant from the public relations firm of John Rendon & Associates, the "Office of Strategic Influence" contractor who never got fired when Rumsfeld lied and said that OSI would be closed down.

Be careful what you believe. The media is lying to you.

Here's a great source for sorting out truth from fiction:
