PB, I have a question about British coverage of collaborater killings which you might know the answer to.

During the 'troubles' in Northern Ireland, were there many killings of informers by the IRA or the Protestant militias? How did the British papers cover them? Do you know how frequent such killings were?

BTW, as for Palestinian collaborator killings, did you know that of the approx 2000 Palestinians who died in the first intifada (1988-1993), almost half (942) were killed by their own side as collaborators?
