That assumes Nortel's 10% estimated decline stays at a 10% decline when it is reported. Mark my words it won't. And yes, I also predicted that NT was going to hit 2.5bil/q during the next 2Q ending Sep 02 and I was laughed at by the Nortel group. Nortel will miss their 10% sequential decline. Mark those words and tell me if I was right or wrong in October when they report.

BTW, IMO, both Nortel and Lucent are junk companies for the next 12 months. So I'm not trying to make one or the other look any better cause IMO they are both junk.

Could it be that the size of the decline can in some way be in part because LU fudged their numbers LAST quarter in order to get Agere off the books?

(I do not own LU, NT or any telecommunications vendors or service providers)
