Key is lean and mean HTML, "spare" software and page loading. Amen! SI used to be that way. Brad was very much into efficiency. The last time I measured, SI was sending 7 times as much data over the wires as I am to deliver the same size message. That's why I can afford to offer things like viewing 100 messages at a time. I'm a major tightwad with bandwidth and CPU power, so it's just not that big an expense for anyone.
