Ray as an intelectual person one must use their own mind rather then relying on 3rd parties to substatiate their views. I can find 10 articles for every 10 you find that say the exact oposite of what yours say. It doesnt matter much. The inteligent person would view motive, and credibility on both parties to determine who is justified. I could easily cite(as Heim has) passages in Koran, and messages by Islamic leaders that are virulently anti-sematic and anti Isreal existence. These Ideas were prevelent before Isreal was even a state. Even if I bought into your Isreal is evil cause Zionism is Impearilistic view, and I dont, it would simply be cancelled out by Islamic anti-sematism and anti Isreal views. So taking all that out and just looking at the two sides, who has more stake in peace? Its obviously Isreal, they have a real economy and industry that could flourish if real Millitary spending was reduced. If the Isreali's are so Impearilistic why give up sinai? They will go to WW111 for the west bank but hand over Sinai? Your logic is a joke. The fact is that if the Arabs want peace they could get it, they dont because its not in their leaderships interest. All the one sided news flashes wont change the reality.

In Israeli Prime Minister Moshe Sharatt's personal diaries, there is an excerpt from May of 1955 in which he quotes Moshe Dayan as follows: "[Israel] must see the sword as the main, if not the only, instrument with which to keep its morale high and to retain its moral tension. Toward this end it may, no - it must - invent dangers, and to do this it must adopt the method of provocation-and-revenge...And above all - let us hope for a new war with the Arab countries, so that we may finally get rid of our troubles and acquire our space." Quoted in Livia Rokach, "Israel's Sacred Terrorism."

One mans views, in Isreal there is democracy unlike in Arab countries. They had a peacenik in office and the arabs refused to negotiate.
