Bush's convention speech edged out Gore's in 2000

I have not had any luck at watching politicians speeches since Kennedy. Bush's close set eyes and smirk really turn me off. Gore is so pompous and solemn that I don't know how anybody sets through his speeches.

But, from a technical standpoint, Bush's UN speech was a masterpiece, IMO. And it has resulted in a veeeeery quiet opposition.
