perhaps her son didn't hear them. perhaps she is saying she spoke with her son, told him what she said she heard and he said they were just messing with her. perhaps she looked at them the wrong way and they were sarcastic and she figured she'd give them some trouble- and was very successful in doing so.

I agree, they have no reason to say what they said under any circumstance.

I expect to go to jail if I yell fire in a theatre, same thing applies here, if they were kidding, then tough...they just learned a valuable lesson....keep their danged mouths shut.

Just a matter of a few days until we hear they are suing anyone involved. If so, I hope there is a fund started to help the lady being sued.

I heard them on King. If it's confirmed that the son indeed says he himself heard the same words, I should think they are liars. If he didn't hear it himself, I could easily think she audibly misunderstood words spoken. I myself have muddy hearing from hearing Ted Nugent too often in my youth, and just today thought I heard my boss say a phrase which was VERY different from what he actually said, indeed. Oh, he speaks a little muddily, exacerbating the situation.
