Okay... except that he is not opposed to Sadam Insane... and Ritter certainly created a problem for his image by his actions, no matter how "well intended" they may have been...

Ah, now we can go through our list of governments we don't approve of and add them to our list?

We should take France... I don't like the fact that they have been selling nuclear technology to everyone in the world. Or that they sold guided missile technology to unfriendly powers.

There are a host of things I don't like about France and the addition of a 52 State (which could double as a vacation destination) would be a good gem for our 21st century adventures. Wine smells so much better than oil. I wouldn't mind the oil, but it shouldn't be a state. A Protectorate, like those south pacific islands where we lit off H-bombs. I think that is the classification that suits it best.

However, I think Cuba would be easier and we have a long history of disagreeing with their government too. And they were recently a vacation destination. Heck, we could probably scrape up some Cuban nationalists to help. Wait, that was done. "Better luck next time." as the picture said in "The Inlaws".
