Good morning Solon,

I've mentioned my daughter's having been born in Korea a few times, as well as the fact that she decided to meet her birth family this summer. After all the insanity over whether we are simply disembodied voices, I decided to tell my very real daughter's very real story here. Without identifying or overly personal details, of course. I learned that lesson the hard way. -g

She's doing pretty well, after a rough first week home. She spent the weekend with us and we got to see an hour long videotape of her time in Korea. It was incredibly reassuring to see how much she is loved and accepted there. Her mother and next older sister held her hand much of the time. Her grandfather rubbed his face against hers like a Eskimo.

I think her task now is to try and place all this love into some manageable emotional vessel.
