Politicians generally try to spin their agenda in a way that will appeal to the mind of the "common man". Your synopsis of the war mindset is far more believable to me but you are correct in that it would have to be packaged in a different manner...............that's the way it always works so I usually never believe what comes out of any politicians mouth. I instinctively know there is another undercurrent of truth running behind the "simpled down " version designed to hook the approval of the common man.
