Why? It's not a whole lot different from the idea of "Intel Inside", which was one of the most effective ad campaigns ever...

In an ideal world, image building would not be anywhere near as important as product advertisting... however, the fact is, that executed effectively, image building can be quite bolstering to a company's bottom line. Then again, since when does AMD execute anything effectively?
