Lawrence Wright's article "Profiles: The Man Behind bin Laden" Is it the following article? The SI search function still doesn't work properly so sorry if it's a duplicate among the recent flood of postings. Good try but that's a followup piece. I should have noted there were two--one telling, it looks like, the story of a wedding, the second an interview with Wright. However, it's the original story that is extremely helpful on the history of Egyptian Islamism. Looks like it's not there. But thanks.
