Advice needed. I have used ATT Wireless for the last few years. As a Sales Executive, it allowed me to connect in virtually any North American city as soon as the plane landed. AS we recently moved to central Connecticut. There simply is not enough signal strength on ATT Wireless in the specific area of my office to receive a call. So, I need to change service providers, and that means that I'll probably get a new phone. My choices for providers seem to be Sprint, Cingular, Verison, ATT. It is my understanding that ATT Wireless uses Cingular towers in this area. Is the assumption that Cingular reception would be just as bad as ATT Wireless in my area? Thus, Sprint versus Verison. 1) I am looking for a good provider with no upcharges for use in the northeast down through North Carolina. 2) What are the best phones - under $300. I do use a Palm, and minimizing the number of devices I need to lug around would be great. Yes, thread. I'm a real novice, but I'ma power mobile phone user and your input would be greatly appreciated. Thoughts and ideas appreciated. TIA nnil
