No. If you insist that cops are always donut-eating dummies, that's what you'll get. As a small boy I was afraid of police, so my mother walked up to one and saw to it that I got acquainted with him. Since then I've always treated them with respect, and I've never been disappointed. You might consider the same philosophy.

Do you have an explanation or an opinion on why it took longer than 20 minutes for the police to get a handle on the situation? They could have asked the students to open their bags on the ground (while they pointed guns at them) or something a lot less dramatic that 17 hours of TV Cop Stunts.
