That is just the way it the law is supposed to work.

That's pretty "broad" a statement, too. Are you suggesting that the Constitution intends for people under arrest to lose "all" of their rights?

With the help of the ACLU and Lawyers we have given "Outlaws" more rights than those of us that work for a living and obey the laws of the land...

I'd personally have drugs legalized and avoid all the associated problems, but again: it sounds like you've been having this discussion with someone else. Good luck.
