more devastating ones from within and from the outside. However, that should
have nothing to do with our position on whether or not to act against Iraq.


I disagree. Seems to me that an intellingent, rational nation ranks the threats against it in some general order of seriousness of threat, and tries to deal with them in some sort of order of most important to least important.

If Iraq is a minor problem to us, and other things are major problems for us, makes no sense to me to send our troops halfway around the world to go after the minor threat.
