I think you'd be interested in my post to Solon then. What about structural differences due to different environmental factors? If you raise a rat in an "entertaining" environment, the rat is "smarter". Similarly, there are structural differences that arise from being in that particular environment that are evident in autopsy. If you never learned impulse control, or had damage to higher brain functions that perform this task, a casual inspection of you might show you had normal intelligence. However, for certain stimuli, you'd react differently than a control group. I think this kind of pathology is endemic to populations raised under certain conditions. I've seen a lot of angry people but never saw anyone put a tire filled with gasoline around someone's neck and light it. There has to be something wrong with a place where this occurs... on a sociological scale at least. I can't imagine a set of circumstances that would cause me to rape children in front of their mothers and hack them apart afterwards. This happens in Africa. Why? I think it is because of their socialization and privation, not due to any other cause.
