Jorj, the various cable companies holding their township monopolies here in New England have no reason to hook up high speed internet access where VZ cannot go with DSL due to CO locations. therefore, the cable company does in fact have a monopoly in those districts. The people in those areas have only one option, the one way DSS option at 70/month or so.

There are several communities here that are primarily populated with high tech, semi-affluent families that have no hope for getting a high speed connection.
